Uhmm okei..so what do we have here?

It's been, uhm, I don't know, 1 1/2? 2? 2 1/2? months since we started our mini-kaYnan in Makati. I decided to call it "KA-Y-NAN", for uhhhhmmm...wala lang, naisip ko lang 'yon. Ok, ok, I know it's not that kind of HUWAAAAWW! name, something you're unlikely to remember after seeing its signboard on the street...yeahh...parang walang dating in short. Not like, "Cooking ng Ina mo" in QC, "Mang Donald's", "The Fried of Marikina", "Yollybee" or "Eat my Balls"(hahahaha, fishball cart in UST). However, I tried coming up with some silly and funny names, pero mahirap pag may ka-partner kang nanay eh...pa-conservative and safe, so no choice. :)
Besides, I dreamt of someday, branching out in malls or along with big establishments (hahaha, tikas! as if!!!! dream lang naman e), so we made it really simple yet straight to the point. Well anyway...walang pakelamanan ng pangalan ng store, hahahaha!
So ayon...what's my point here? Nawala na'ko...
Ah! E kase, sa tinagal-tagal ng pagkatengga ng kainan namen na 'yon, e wala pa rin kaming menu board at logo. Nanggagalaiti na nga ang nanay ko sa kaka-remind saken sa araw-araw na ginawa ng Diyos, "Asan na ba 'yong menu board, Chaiiiiii!!!"
EH KASE NGA NUKNUKAN AKO NG TAMAD NGAYON!
Hmp! Pero hinde na ngayon...kase finally, I was able to whip my ass and do the most-awaited logo and board! Para matuwa na ang nanay kong excited at para mapalitan na ang cartolina at coffee shop-inspired menu of the day board. :) Nah, I guess I'll keep the black board though, I think that's cool! :D

...so I got few food shots for my board...
...got some ideas and help (revisions and kuller, hello!) from a "friend", which really, really helped a lot. Thanx. :)
Then picked the final logo from 2 studies (hahaha, kung di ba naman ako tamad, naturingang artist, 2 studies lang ang ginawa :P)...
Tadaaaaa! Finiiiiiish! Pass your papeeerrrrssss!
Haaaayy, sa wakas.
Sa hinahaba-haba man daw ng prusisyon...malamang paltos ang abot ng mga nakatakong. (uhmm...hehehe...corny? so what!)
After all the wait, finally, next week, I'll have my menu mounted on cintra board. (sosyal huh!, kahit puro 50 pesos lang ang price, hmmm...dapat mabawi! :D )

haaayy parang ako......pag walang talent fee nuknukan ng tamad para gumawa ng design na para sa pamilya naman.... eh pag para sa iba at me lagay.....pagpupuyatan at kacareerin pa kamo tipong pang araw awards! ;P
