Little Tokyo

I wanna share with you a place na medyo nagiging favorite namen kainan coz of their authentic Japanese food and ambiance, and it will somehow transport you into a city in the Land of the Rising Sun. Twice pa lang akong kumakain dito with my friends, and fortunately lahat naman ng kain ko doon ay LIBRE! :) I think you've already heard so much about the place...it's Makati's Little Tokyo.

Little Tokyo is a small compound with various Japanese restaurants located in Pasong Tamo, Makati, near Makati Cinema Square (well you can also visit MCS for new DVDs). The first restaurant we tried was Kagura.

The Kagura restaurant

It's not so pricey, hinde masakit sa bulsa, at ang maganda pa dito, their food are good for sharing, hinde katiting para sa 200+ na price. Pati ang beer, hinde over-priced. Yon nga lang maliit lang ang place nila sa loob so ang hirap pag dine-in, konti lang ang kanilang Japanese table. Nasa labas lang kami, pero ok lang, I bet, me nangangamoy na paa naman sa loob. :) Atsaka smoking area please! :)

Yeah! I love it...lalo na pag me beer! yum yum!:)

This is their crispy chicken something, don't know what it's called in Japanese. :) But it's quite ok.

Here, you'll find the real takoyaki (octopus dumpling)! With real octopus bits! :)

Their famous Okonomiyaki (A Japanese pancake, maraming laman sa loob, may seafoods, bacon, noodles etc.)

Malou wanting a piece of Okonomiyaki. :)

By the way, it was Chao's bday and this was her treat! Thanx!

The next one was Nodasho, it's in front of Kagura. :) But this one, unlike Kagura, medyo mahal ang food and very small ang servings, pang-isahan lang. Nevertheless, the food's more Japanese here, mas maraming sushi, sashimi and all those raw Japanese dishes, at mas masarap. Mas malaki ang restaurant nila so mas maraming Hapon sa loob...but then again, smoking area please! :) Here we tried, ramen, sashimi, makis, rice bowls and their yakisoba. Gosh, they all tasted really good! And ofcourse, beer!

With my Bluebottle and Picket officemates

Subsob si Chao a, bumabawi! hahahaha :P

Bluebottle peeps!

B-day girl Tweet with Teng. Thanx Tweety! Muah!

Pose lang

With Tweety bird...apparently, I'm slightly tipsy. :)

So that's it! A little Japanese treat in the South. One thing I wanna see there...cherry blossoms! :) hehehe...
